The Firkin Shed

Bournemouths first ‘Micro pub.' A small family run freehouse dedicated to bringing you quality real ales poured straight from the cask.

All the ales are sourced from independent breweries both locally and further afield. The Firkin Shed also boast a large range of still ciders and a small selection of quality wines, soft drinks, pork pies, sausage rolls and snacks.

You won’t find a TV or loud amplified music here as conversation is the key to the Firkin Shed. Though, on occasion you may find a few folk fiddling about on a banjo or the on the house piano.

The Firkin Shed do not stock bottled beer, lager, or spirits, to ensure freshness of the cask ale at all times. It really is ' all about the beer!'
