Bournemouth plays host to the UK's largest, free, air festival. Expect amazing displays on land, in the air and on the water too. All of the action takes place over our wonderful sandy beaches.

The Bournemouth Air Festival is Britain’s biggest free air and land festival. The festival will feature an incredible four days of aerobatics including the Typhoon, The Royal Air Force Battle of Britain Memorial Flight (BBMF) "Lest we Forget", RAF HC6A Chinook, Super Pitts Muscle Bi-Plane, The Tigers Freefall Team, Supermarine Spitfire MK. XIX, Yakovlev Aerobatic Display, T-67 Firefly, WASP HAS1 Helicopter, Firebirds to name but a few!
The award-winning family friendly event includes dazzling dusk performances and entertainment on land. Once again there is plenty happening 'on land' and 'at sea' in 2023 – terrific traders, Armed Forces villages, displays, performances, funfairs and a host of delicious food and drink, plenty to keep everyone entertained.
The festival is free and we encourage everyone to buy the official programme to help support the event - and get more detailed timings for the entire long weekend.
