Bournemouth's transport system allows both residents and visitors easy access across the town and further afield into Poole and Christchurch.

By Bus

The Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole area is served by Yellow Buses and More Buses. Check their website for latest routes and timetables.

Bournemouth Airport is covered by Yellow Buses service 737, which serves Bournemouth Square, Railway Station, Winton, Moordown, Northbourne and Parley Cross from 6am to 1.30pm. The service currently runs five days per week, Monday to Friday, excluding public holidays , with discounted weekly and monthly tickets available. 

By Taxi

There are taxi ranks at many locations around Bournemouth, including Pier Approach, The Square, The Triangle and Lansdowne in the town centre.

Local taxi operators include Streamline Warrens Taxis and United Taxis.

By Train

South Western Railway operate services through Bournemouth and the local area, with stations at Lansdowne (Bournemouth Station), Pokesdown for Boscombe, Branksome, Parkstone, Christchurch and Poole.

By Bike

There are many designated cycle paths across Bournemouth including marked paths through the gardens.

Bike hire is available through Beryl with many pick up and drop off points across the area.
