Katsu Bar on Lansdowne Road offers authentic Japanese dishes, from sushi to their signature chicken katsu curry.

Jointly led by owner Tak Ho and manager Eddie Prior, the ethos behind Katsu is to bring authentic Japanese flavours to the people of Bournemouth and beyond. With over forty two years’ hospitality experience between them, Tak and Eddie are the perfect duo to lead the Katsu team.

Start your meal with Japanese nibbles, such as fresh edamame beans, fiery wasabi peas or rice crackers. The menu offers a range of sushi dishes as well as small plates, such as sweet ramen fried chicken and rich and tender furrikake short ribs, which are ideal for sharing. Alternatively, try their signature katsu curry, available with a choice of chicken, pork, tofu or fish, and served with rice, crisp shredded cabbage, pickles and a sweet tonkatsu sauce.
