Fifty years on from the first moon landing, three Dorset arts festivals join forces to present DORSET MOON, an exciting new addition to the summer season.
From a giant water screen in which passers by can see their faces in a million drops of water, to a fully functioning weather machine, by way of a poetry robot and musical lamp posts, this year’s Light Up Poole festival of light art, which runs after dark from Thursday 21 to Saturday 23 February 2019, can promise experiences like no others.
The InsideOutDorset arts festival is underway and we went along to the Coastal Encounters section in Boscombe on Saturday 15th September.
Light Up Poole was a unique digital Light Art Festival aiming to transform Poole’s Town Centre after dark during February 2018. We went along on Saturday 17th February to view the installation pieces dotted around Poole's town centre.
Bournemouth’s largest independent arts festival, Bournemouth Emerging Arts Fringe (BEAF), is set to fill the streets with creativity from 28th April – 7th May 2018, immersing visitors and residents in Bournemouth’s emerging arts scene.
