Dogs of all shapes and sizes entered competitions including Best Condition Bitch and Dog, Best Behaved Puppy, Waggiest Tail and Best Trick among others.
There was an agility course to test the dog (and owners) skills and also a fastest recall sprint run. Unfortunately not all of the woofers read the memo and many ran in the wrong direction, sat still or in one case escaped and ran off into the car park.
The event included a selection of stalls selling craft items and doggy dogs, various games for humans and a very tasty BBQ food stall. With proceeds going to such a great cause we were more than happy to try as much of the tasty food on offer as possible.
Best in show was awarded at the end of the afternoon, congratulations to all who took part.
It was a heckin' brilliant day and our only disapointment was not being able to sneak a peek at the cats while there.
