It has a variety of exhibitions and events are designed to raise awareness and understanding of this fascinating place which is not only a Nature Reserve, but an Ancient Monument and a Site of Special Scientific Interest and ranks as one of the most important such sites in England.

Hengistbury Head Land Train

There is a small land train that runs from the cafe/car park to the beach huts at the spit and harbour entrance. It runs every day except Christmas day.

Parking at Hengistbury Head

There is a large pay and display car park at Hengistbury Head and some limited on road parking along Broadway. The area does get busy during peak times so arrive early or take a Yellow Bus (33) to Harbour Road and follow Broadway.
