Hurtling's Jen Macro has recently been seen on stage playing keyboards with My Bloody Valentine. That’s surely enough to get you all excited. Her new band Hurtling are described as ‘dark hued yet melodious, cinematic yet hook laden. Sometimes noisy, sometimes less so, Hurtling take inspiration from bands like, and including, The Breeders, Sebadoh and Warpaint but make a sound that is all their own.’

‘Their crunchy alt-rock sound is entirely of their own making and leaves a packed Windmill baying for more’ - JOYZINE

Zaardvark, ‘One of the greatest alternative bands ever to have existed in Bournemouth. The technically stunning instrumental three-piece, made up of guitar, drums and crazy synth-bass, seem to deep-fry fillets of Captain Beefheart and serve them with home-cut Frank Zappa and a small pot of mushy Deerhoof on the side’.
