Frank Skinner - Showbiz

Event Date: Sun 7 Feb 2021 - 7.30pm

Following a sold-out five-week run at the West End's Garrick Theatre, comedy legend Frank Skinner is adding extra dates to his latest UK tour and bringing his critically acclaimed stand-up show Showbiz to Lighthouse for one night only.

Prior to his west end triumph, the last twelve months have seen Frank perform sold-out runs at London’s Leicester Square Theatre, the Edinburgh fringe, and a 45-date national UK tour, making Showbiz the must-see comedy event of the year.

For BBC Radio 4, Frank hosted comedy panel show The Rest is History, and wrote and starred in comedy-drama series Don’t Start alongside Katherine Parkinson. Most recently he has successfully launched Frank Skinner’s Poetry Podcast with Absolute Radio, which has garnered fantastic reviews. As an author, Frank has published Dispatches from the Sofa; a collection of columns he wrote for The Times and has written two autobiographies, the first of which, Frank Skinner, was the top-selling autobiography of 2002, spending 46 weeks in The Sunday Times Bestseller List. His latest stand-up show, Showbiz, has enjoyed a sold-out national tour and subsequently sold out residency at the West End’s Garrick Theatre.
