Hazel Pittwood will take you on the trail of fin, blue, right, gray and sperm whales, looking at how they migrate and the challenges they face on the journey.
SEASHELLS & THE BNSS SHELL COLLECTION
18 AUGUST TUESDAY / 7:30PM IN-HOUSE ONLY Hands On!
Sally Eyre, BNSS Head of Conchology, will talk about seashells, their role in human history, and the BNSS shell collection.
Visitors are invited to bring their own shells in for discussion. Open to all ages.
SIR FRANK WHITTLE & THE JET ENGINE
25 AUGUST TUESDAY / 7:30PM ZOOM & IN-HOUSE
Stephen Robson, RAF Squadron Leader (Retired), will tell the story of how Frank Whittle developed and built the jet engine, which allowed Britain to lead the world in this new technology.
