After a hugely successful first year, Adventure Attractions Ltd has confirmed that the suspension of the pier toll is here to stay. Delivered in partnership with Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole Council, the initiative has transformed access to one of the UK’s most iconic seaside landmarks.
Over the past 12 months, the impact has been clear to see. The pier has been busier than ever, full of energy, atmosphere, and people enjoying everything it has to offer. At a time when many attractions are increasing prices, it’s refreshing to see Bournemouth leading the way - keeping the pier open, accessible, and welcoming to all.
This decision represents a significant £700,000 investment from Adventure Attractions, underlining their long-term commitment to the seafront and its future. It’s a bold move that’s already paying off, with increased footfall helping to support local businesses and create a vibrant, thriving destination.
