Storm Ciara smashed into the coast at Bournemouth on Sunday 9th February. Waves crashed on the beach, seafoam formed and sand was blown up on to the promenade.

The weather today may not be ideal for sunbathing but it was great to see the more experience surfers enjoyed the extremely windy weather today.

The British Beach Champs took place on the sandy beaches at Canford Cliffs this weekend and offered high-flying action with teams across the UK and Europe.

Up to two thousand swimmers took to the water for the Bournemouth Pier to Boscombe Pier swim challenge on Sunday 14th July. 2019 markes the 29th anniversary of the event, all fundraising for the British Heart Foundation.
