Full list of Bournemouth, Poole and Christchurch parks re-opening 4th July

On Saturday 4 July, the council will open most playgrounds and play areas across Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole. The remaining parks open on Monday 6 July.

Each play area will be inspected for safety and cleaned. The grass will be cut where needed. New signs at entrances will advise visitors on social distancing measures and guidelines. Visitors should "Think Twice" - if the park is busy, come back later. Please consider limiting the length of your visit to the park so that more children are able to use the facilities.

Play areas should pose a low risk of infection as they have been closed for over 3 months. The main risk of infection is person-to-person contact and touchpoints in the play area while it is in use. Please take hand sanitiser with you. Encourage children to use it regularly, and to wash their hands before arriving and when they return home.

Below is a list of the play areas that will be open from Saturday 4 July. The aim to get the rest of the play areas open by Monday 6 July.

The play area at Canford Heath Parkway in Poole will remain closed for refurbishment.
