The location is somewhat unusual, the loading bay behind the Avenue Shopping Centre. Access is from Avenue Road opposite the pedestrian entrance to the APCOA car park.

The market celebrates LOCAL and features Art, Coffee, Bakery, Craft Beer, Gin, Florist, Street Food alongside hosting free children’s art + play table, craft workshops and a free good cause pitch at each market.

Since launching in 2018 Surfers Against Sewage have awarded the event a ‘Plastic Free Champion’ status and the market was shortlisted in the national Mollie Makes Awards for creating a Handmade Community.
