With new choreographies from world class tango dancers Tangomotion promises a breathtaking journey into the heart of Argentinian tango at Lighthouse, Poole’s centre for the arts, on Wednesday 23 October. 

From virtuoso displays of traditional tango dance in stunning costumes, to the exquisite sounds of 1930s and 40s Buenos Aires and the powerful Nuevo Tango music of Astor Piazzolla, Tangomotion features new work by Alexandra Wood, Guillermo Torrens, Paula Duarte and Richard Manuel, with original music and evergreen tango classics from the acclaimed Tango Siempre quartet. 

The Tangomotion dancers and musicians have previously appeared in the hit West End show Midnight Tango, Strictly Come Dancing, The One Show, Zingzillas, Surprise Surprise, Radio 3’s In Tune and the Classic Brit Awards.
