The festival area is behind Victoria School near the Branksome train station. Upon entry you get a free glass and then buy tokens (6 for £10) which you exchange at the bar for half pints of one of the 50 beers and ciders on offer - and what an array they have! The festival booklet includes a detailed list of the brews available so you can get a rough idea - or much more fun is picking at random because the name sounds good!
The bluegrass and country music line up is tub-thumping and we enjoyed sets by Whiskey Shivers, Midnight Skyracer, The Hot Seats, Propane Brothers, Wesley Randolph Eader and Cardboard Fox on Friday night.
The festival continues Saturday 28th July from 12.15pm until late so get down to Victoria School and make the most of the continuing good weather.
