Sponsored by Breeze Volkswagen, this week’s line up will see Samba Panashe start the party with their carnival of sound together with the triumphant return of Colt 45, in partnership with Mr Kyps. Female saxophone duo Saxuality will be performing plus Choir on the Quay, a group made up of local choirs will be performing ‘A song for Sea Music’ as part of the celebration of the refurbished sculpture on the Quay by renowned artist Sir Anthony Caro.
As part of Wave 105’s Summertime in the South, the free event takes place every Thursday evening in August, bringing a party atmosphere to Poole’s continental quayside before finishing with a firework finale at 10pm over the largest natural harbour in Europe.
Families will have the chance to develop their artistic skills with pavement art or have a go at traditional Maypole dancing with Morris & Maypole plus Jamie Jigsaw will be on hand with the chance to learn some circus skills. Street performers will be showing off their juggling talents, with fire performances, plus there will be bouncy castles and children’s rides.

Poole Quay will be closed to vehicles for the event from 6pm.
