The Adventures of the Little Ghost

The Adventures of the Little Ghost

This Halloween a magic and mischief unfold with The Adventures of the Little Ghost at Pavilion Dance South West, Sunday 30 October. The charming show tells the tale of the Little Ghost who haunts the castle, visits his friends and has plenty of fun, but at the stroke of one he must return to his chest in the dusty attic. His greatest wish is to see the world in daylight, just once!

Based on the book of the same name by popular children’s author Ottfried Preussler (The Robber Hotzenplotz, The Little Witch, Krabat and the Sorcere’s Mill) the show transports families into a world of wonder and adventure, with a mix of dance styles, including parkour and freerunning. October holds many activities for young people, but why not share in the Halloween fun with this fantastic introduction to dance-theatre for all the family.

Creator Sophie Nüzel has worked closely with an inter-generational cast of local people who will join the company on stage; bringing a joyful and participatory opportunity for all involved. Pre-show workshops are also available for families and children aged 4 – 9 years; a chance to dive into the themes of the show and explore the world of the Little Ghost.
