Littledown Centre

Offering a fully equipped gym and swimming pool, with fitness classes and junior activities for all ages.  

Located a short distance from Bournemouth town centre, BH Live Active Littledown is the region's flagship leisure centre. It offers high-quality fitness facilities for all including a well-equipped gym with cardio area, resistance machines, free weights, and functional fitness spaces.  

Swimmers can enjoy sessions and lane swimming in the 25-metre swimming pool, have fun in the smaller 17-metre teaching pool and splash pool. There are also spa facilities for relaxation (over 16s only). 

Littledown also has a wide range of daily group fitness classes available to BH Live Active members and on a pay-as-you-go basis. Classes include Les Mills™, yoga, group cycling, circuits, and much more.  

There’s something fun for the whole family. With junior activities including Wet & Wacky pool sessions, Junior Gym and Family Yoga classes, Crusher pool inflatable, and much more. 

There are outdoor floodlit artificial training pitches for football and outdoor sports, a large indoor 8-court sports hall for badminton, volleyball, table tennis and more.

Enjoy hot, cold, and grab-and-go food, meals, snacks, and drinks in the Terrace Café. With the soft play for under 5s situated close by, there’s something to keep the little ones busy too.  

There’s also Lookout at Littledown, a vibrant outdoor live music, bar and dining experience with a recently refurbished bar and outdoor terrace overlooking Littledown Park. Serving delicious dishes – including vegan, vegetarian, and gluten free options – there’s live music, quiz nights, and so much more. 

Littledown Park completes the leisure experience with a children’s paddling pool (open summer months and free to attend) complete with a play area and picnic area.
