International Men’s Day is 19th of November.  This year’s focus for the UK is “Making a difference for men and boys” and “how we can give men and boys better life chances”. Pause Cat Cafe sees this as an opportunity to help men and boys in the local community by offering them a free visit to experience the healing benefits of spending time with cats.

Bournemouth is to get the South’s first cat cafe. A Bournemouth woman is crowdfunding the final £25,000 needed to open Pause Cat Cafe near Horseshoe Common, where people can book to spend time with cats while enjoying healthy, locally sourced, ethical food and drink. The indiegogo campaign launched today and will run until 9th December, and if the target is reached, Jaya Da Costa hopes to open the cat cafe later this winter.
