Located to the east of Bournemouth, Southbourne is easily accessible by public transport using the Yellow Buses 1b & 1c services from the town centre.

Popular with residents and holiday makers you can walk from the High Street through Fisherman's walk directly to the coast.

The large clean pavements offer easy access to most shops and many of the hotels, B&B's and guest houses are located just a short walk away.
Fisherman's Walk & the Cliff Lift
Fisherman's Walk is a historic green space near to both the coast and the busy shopping area of Southbourne Grove. In 2010 Fisherman's Walk won its first Green Flag awarded to well-managed parks and green spaces. The Friends of Fisherman's Walk (FFW) are a volunteer group of local residents committed to raising awareness and use of the walk and regenerating it for the benefit of the community.
The Fisherman's Walk, Southbourne Cliff Lift was opened in 1935 and is still operational offering a direct route from the cliff top to the beach.
