Burley Villa School of Riding

Burley Villa School of Riding can take you riding through the ancient woodlands of the New Forest National Park.

Beginners are always welcome. Offering pony rides on premises for children over 4yrs old, 1 hour Family Walk Rides amongst the wild New Forest ponies and their foals (7 yrs and over) and for those over 12yrs of age, 2 hour Forest Trails through the leafy glades of the forest enclosures and the deer country.

Burley Villa is a British Horse Society Approved stables which offers Forest Hacking and Riding Lessons all year round. They ride every day apart from a Monday and are open on Bank Holidays.

Western Riding

Mosey on down to the Ranch and experience horse riding with a difference ‘Western Style’

Western riding is an easy, relaxing and more secure way of riding than the traditional English style. The cowboys of the old west had to spend hours a day in the saddle so they sure as hell made that saddle as comfortable as they could. Trail riding,  Western Style, is a beautiful way to take in the splendour of the New Forest all year round.
